Robert D. Mack
Robert D. Mack, 87, widower of Thelma R. (Gilbert) Mack, of Frye Road, Pennsburg, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at home.
Born in Red Hill, he was a son of the late Frank S. and Sallie B. (Barndt) Mack.
Robert owned and operated the Mack Dairy Farm for over 48 years, retiring in 1996. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Italy, and was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Hill.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Nancy, wife of Donald Yerger, Sandra A., wife of Stephen Reeder, Patricia L., wife of Claude Walter and James R. Mack, and his wife, Mary Alice, all of Pennsburg; a sister, Elsie Mack Rehak, of Pennsburg; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Along with his wife and parents, he is predeceased by two sons, Robert D. Mack, Jr. and David C. Mack and a grandson, Scott S. Reeder.
Family and friends attended a viewing and funeral service on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. William A.
